The BibTag decoder connects to mats and decodes signals from tags to identify athletes and measure their times. Portable decoders are equipped with a built-in battery and can process up to 50 tag readings per second.
Detection Mats

Detection mats are placed at the start, finish, and split timing points. The mats act as antennas for the system, detecting signals from active tags. The mats are modular and allow the creation of timing sections ranging from 1 to 8 meters wide per system.
